Terms of service

The service

We design, publish and maintain websites for local businesses. What each plan (Basic, Professional and Premium) includes is described on sitioya.com, and the version in effect when you pay is the one that applies.

Payments

When you sign up you pay the plan’s setup fee and the first monthly fee. After that, the monthly fee is charged to your card automatically every month through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and include taxes where applicable.

If a charge fails, we let you know and you have 15 days to update your card before we pause the site.

Minimum term and cancellation

Plans have a 12-month minimum term. If you cancel before it ends, the monthly fees remaining to complete the 12 months are charged.

After 12 months, the plan continues month to month and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the month already paid. To cancel, email info@sitioya.com.

Refunds

Because you see your finished site before you sign up, payments are non-refundable once made. Before publishing, we adjust whatever you need.

Your domain

The domain is registered in your business’s name. We buy it for you and charge you its exact yearly cost, with no markup. If you’d rather buy it yourself, we guide you step by step.

Content and approval

We build the site with your business’s public information and what you give us. Nothing is published without your approval, and you are responsible for the information you confirm (hours, prices, services, photos) being correct and for having the right to use the photos and text you send us.

Included changes

The monthly fee includes reasonable content changes: hours, prices, promotions, text and new photos. We reply within 2 business days. Full redesigns or new pages outside your plan are quoted separately.

If you decide to leave

Your content and your domain are yours. If you cancel, we help you transfer the domain and hand over your site’s files.

Third-party services

We rely on services such as Cloudflare (hosting and email), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email sending) and Google (Analytics, Search Console and Business Profile). Their operation also depends on those providers. We do our best to keep your site online at all times, but we can’t guarantee there will never be interruptions.

Liability

Our total liability for the service is limited to what you have paid in the last 12 months.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll email you at least 30 days in advance. Changes don’t alter your plan’s price during your minimum term.
